Well, This is definitely by far the most confusing yet the most interesting thing I have done in the last 3 months of holidays. I do not have much experience with source editing but I do a little bit of changes when I can to source files. This has been a very good experience in creating, editing and learning new tech over the internet. I’m positive that I can definitely learn more which will add to my future experience.

I’m looking forward to learning new things using this course, and I am sure it would benefit me with my future job.

P.S: Rohit, is what my friends call me, so please do not get confused. 🙂

Week 3 – Thoughts about upcoming Technology

Hello –

In the beginning there was no technology, but how did things work  and how people started to evolve ?? I ask myself this question and I hope we share the same thoughts.

Thinking about the way technology is evolving at a pace where humans would not be required to do any tasks in the future. Currently we have robotics on a planet doing humans job, though the planet may not be good for human habitat, Robotics are being used in major industries. In the recent few weeks I noticed a new way of delivering pizza. Domino’s Pizza was planning to launch a pizza delivery robot, which I believe is a good thought, but not at the cost of a humans job. Drones which are capable of spying and eliminating a target and is also used to cover different views/angles where a person cannot reach. Technology in the wrong hands could prove fatal, not that it is.

I sometimes follow technology that is being developed in the health sector. Doctors being able to operate a person with the latest tech development. Health industry is booming. People are able to understand the kind of technology that is available in the market just by searching what they prefer. But is everyone able to reach out to utilise this change ?

What does the future have in store ? Would Digital learning be effective or the old school (Teacher) be more effective ? What could be the cost a human would pay if technology development would prove wrong. Or if we ask for more then what is required. Is there an alternate to what we do.

I have been seeing different and new technology. It’s creating a lot of confusion. Have a look at the below link I found while I was browsing my phone.

DL – Week 2 – Easter explained ! !

Hello –

Welcome to week 2. Happy Easter to all my friends. Hope you all had a great day. As for me it was a new day of happiness and joy. As I have been observing and following lent (40 days), there is a reason I do this and I believe it’s the same that other Christians follow.

But why is it done ! ?

I believe in giving back, As Jesus dies on the cross for our sins. And that is what I was thought as a child. Staying away from family here in NZ makes me remind of the things that was thought to us. Following and keeping up the religious virtues true by heart. Though Easter might be well explained by the more religious people, but everyone has there own ways to explaining Easter. For me it’s what my mom thought.

Think about Good friday, Why is it called good friday ? Why do we actually get a holiday ? Some of my friends unknowingly even send me texts wishing me Happy Good Friday ! ! but then I take a few minutes trying to explain if required what Good friday actually means, they then understand the true meaning. It’s not a huge thing, It’s just the way of explaining things to people for there understanding.

I had a good time with my friends here, and hope you all did too.

What is digital learning ?

To simplify the way students learn with the aid of using technology thereby giving control over time and other factors. This does not mean that the teachers role would be eliminated, but the teacher would be able to provide proper guidance ensuring the student stays on track.

Time: The student would be able to study not just at school, but anytime along with access to the internet.

Hello all – I’m ambrose from India, currently pursuing my Graduate Diploma in IT from Eastern Institute of Technology. I have taken up this course as an added advantage for my interest towards Information Technology. To be more specific, I personally prefer Security as a major subject within information technology. My work experience was mostly related to Information Security and Access.

My future aspects would be to pursue my career in security and risk management.
